You are not a model, and I don't ask you to perform like one. I'll direct you — where to stand, where to look, when to hold still — but the goal is to find you, not a version of you. Straightforward, no forced expressions, no wasted time. The process should feel as good as the photographs look.

Your session fee covers a mandatory pre-shoot consultation, a two-hour session timed around magic hour, two rolls of medium format film (30–32 frames), professional lab processing, and delivery of your final scanned images.

The consultation is a required first step, and for good reason — it's where all the pieces come together. We'll go over your location and logistics, wardrobe and styling based on what suits you best, and the shape of the day itself, so that by the time we meet for the shoot, everything is already settled. That's intentional: it means shoot day can be fully devoted to the experience itself, without any last-minute questions or changes competing for attention. Think of the consultation as where we build the plan together — and the shoot as where we simply enjoy it.

32 frames across two hours works out to a deliberate pace — each frame gets real attention to light, composition, and moment, rather than shooting in volume and sorting it out later. It's the same discipline that makes film work in the first place — fewer, better frames, not more, average ones.

We'll shoot rain or shine, as long as it's safe and workable. If conditions truly make it impossible, we'll reschedule at no extra cost to you.

Sessions are single-location by design, since the two-hour window and natural light don't leave room for travel between spots. If you have something specific in mind, bring it up during the consultation.
